Usability of mortar for predicting shear strength development at rest of fresh self compacting concrete

Determining the relationship between rheological parameters of model mortar and SCC (Self-Compacting Concrete) was aim work. The static yield stress thixotropy coefficient AT were determined, which are important due to development shear strength at rest formwork pressure generated during casting. Shear reflected as gs develops mainly a self-compaction ability SCC. And in longer term, progressive hydration cement disappearance HRWR impact (loss fluidity). depends on w/c ratio, type (High Range Water Reducers) cement. SCCs with higher ratio develop faster, but up 40 min influence decreases. stiffening increases SCC, same time, it slows down concrete. Thixotropy primarily w/c, HRWR. initial period being rest. characterized by time lower gs. significance thixotropic effect for disappears time.
